2018 Recruiting Class Breakdown: Florida A&M University

Doug Freeman
Florida Scouting Director

With the early signing period coming to an end on November 15th, we will now take a look at the 2018 recruiting classes for each Division I college in Florida. Today we take a look at Florida A&M University high school and junior college signees.

Head coach Jamey Shouppe said of this 2018 early signing class, "We are excited to sign four high school players that have the chance to come in and compete for us as freshmen!  All four are tremendous young men that come from very supportive families. These men will help us continue to build our FAMU Baseball program into something special!"

Scouting Report

08/20/17- Big, strong, frame. There is some length in the swing, but he has long levers and has present left handed power. He has quality bat-to-ball skills and creates natural loft and will have a chance to hit for power at the next level.

8/29/15- 6-foot-2, 185 pounds with a tall, athletic, strong, and projectable frame. Gets a separation and hand trigger for his load. Nice swing plane, good bat speed, and the ball jumps off his bat. More to come with maturity. Next level talent.
