2019 Recruiting Class Breakdown: Butler

With the NCAA's early signing period wrapped up, we take a look at the 2019 high school recruiting classes for each D1 school in Indiana with in-state recruits. Here, we look at Butler's class:

Coach Schrage and staff have put together a very solid recruiting class for 2019, with seven players ranked in in the top 75 in Indiana's class of 2019 rankings. The Bulldogs will add depth to their pitching staff with the four in-state recruits. RHP Blake Sarjent is an athletic 6-foot-1, 190 pounder with a fastball up to 89 mph and a 74-76 breaking ball with depth. Clay Holzworth is another righty with a fastball up to 89 mph and a plus changeup with lots of sink and run. Southpaw Corey Bosecker is a lanky 6-foot-3, 180 pounder that pounds the zone with a fastball up to 85 and 70-72 breaking ball. Jon Vore is a right-hander up to 88 mph with good command and arm side run. Jared Greene and Kyle Pepiot should add depth to the outfield with their speed. 1B Jackson Adams is a right-handed hitter with power potential.
