"Our staff really likes the recruits we have coming in.  They're driven, excited and feel like they have something to prove...that's perfect for us." - Brian Schmack (Head Coach, Valparaiso)

Head Coach Brian Schmack and staff are bringing in six total in 2019, including two in-state products.  Both in-state recruits are ranked in the top 50 of Indiana's class of 2019 rankings.  Hanover Central middle infielder Nolan Tucker is an athletic defender with arm strength and speed.  The left-handed hitter has feel for the barrel with bat speed.  Corner infielder Kyle Schmack (South Central-Union Mills HS) is strong right-handed hitter with a power approach and explosive bat speed.
