2019 State Games of NC Blog: Game Day No. 3

Friday saw the final day of pool play at the 2019 State Games of NC. Spots for the medal rounds were being decided as coaches and players angled to take home the gold. Below is recap from Friday’s games at UNC Charlotte with player notes from each region

Game 1

Region 2 Player Notes

+ Trey Clucas (LHP, Hoggard HS, 2021) – Large frame. Fastball ranged 82-84 creating some swing and miss when elevated. Over-the-top slot with an elongated arm swing. Landed the breaking ball as the outing progressed, 1/7 tilt at 75-77.
