Scouting Report

6/11/19

6’1 200-pound frame with strength. Starts with an open stance, using a leg kick to get square in his stride. Good job with side bend to hit pitches down and stay tall on pitches up. Stays inside the ball, occasionally getting pushy. Being the plate, showed a good transfer on his 2.00 pop times with arm strength at 77 MPH. Worked around the ball well and early to have quality times.

Scouting Report

6/11/19

6’ 193-pound frame. Starts with square feet, rocking back to load into back side and uses leg kick to get back to square. Lands with soft front knee for adjustability. Keeps hands quiet throughout swing. Occasionally drifts too far forward, making it harder to rotate and match pitch plane. Exit velo at 91 MPH. Behind the plate, you’ll struggle to find a harder worker. Blocks everything regardless of runners on base or what pitch is thrown. Quick footwork around the baseball on throws to second with 1.95-2.07 pop times. Arm strength was at 75 MPH from the crouch.

Scouting Report

6/11/19

5’9 155-pound frame. From the left side starts open, striding back towards rear foot before going back forward to get square or slightly into the plate. Barrell tilts up and leg goes up, allowing him to have good rhythm through swing and load. Good extension, staying inside the ball. From the right side, has the same set up using the same rhythm as the left side. Lowers half works well, giving him adjustability throughout his swing. Kept hands inside well from right side. Good athlete behind the plate. Quick footwork, working around the baseball to start turn and transfer. Arm strength at 72 MPH. Pop time was 2.12-2.2.

Scouting Report

6/11/19

5’11 195-pound frame. Starts slightly open with feet shoulder width apart. Quiet set up, laying bat on shoulder and tilting it upwards as he loads into back side. Uses lower half well, creating separation to rotate with good sequence. Pull/middle approach with hard contact in the air. Exit velo at 90 MPH. Bare hand stays close to glove for quick transfer from glove to barehand. Transfer in the center of his body. Footwork stays open on throws to 2B which takes away some of his lower half. Arm strength was at 75 MPH with carry.
