Scouting Report
Hit: RHH, Balance, upright position, stride is short with up and down gaining very ground. Efficient swing generates hard contact without a lot of wasted movement, efficient swing. Bat path stays through the ball creating distance and backspin.
Exit Velocity: 90
Power: Nolan showed good power with the consistent ability to make hard contact without a lot of swing and miss.
Defense: Good footwork and an athletic approach in the outfield allowed Nolan to pick the premium hop to field and throw. Solid fundamentals allowed for maximum carry and accuracy.
Arm: Velocity 86 Nolan shows a number of plus tools that should allow him to be successful at the next level, his work ethic and his tools should provide a positive future in the game!

Hit: RHH Upright stance with simple and easy stride to load. 50/50 weight distribution at launch. Balanced and consistent with lower half. Hands start high and arm angles are maintained. Path is downward and creates good “to it, through it” in zone. Very good extension on follow through. Finish is high and always balanced. Middle of field approach and had solid barrel contact in showcase BP. Just scratching the surface of skill development...speed makes Nolan a must follow. Exit Velo: 82

Defense: Foot work in OF solid. Good transition to throwing and very good Hand/Eye CF Type!
5-foot-7, 135-pound right hand hitting OF/RHP who ran a 7.02 60. At the plate he stands tall with a double tow tap on the pitch. Swing path is slightly uphill and bat sweeps through the zone. Exit velocity was 74 MPH. In the field he showed good quick actions and uses his speed to cut balls down in the gaps. Arm velocity was 73 MPH. On the mound he is quick to the plate with a smooth motion. He lands in-line with the plate and delivers from an over the top arm slot. Fastball was 74 MPH with good command of the zone.
