The inaugural Prep Baseball All-American Game took place on Sept. 23 at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wis., and featured a combined 39 of the best players in the country from the 2024 and 2025 graduating classes. 

Over the last few weeks, I’ve gone back and re-watched the game back a few times, as well as diving into all of the advanced data we have from both the game and workout day, courtesy of partners like Blast Motion, TrackMan, and Swift, to bring brand new scouting report summaries for each player. 

Eye-opening speed. Massive power potential. Elite pitch metrics. Entire tool boxes were on display in Milwaukee.

2025 SCOUTING REPORTS

The following players have been listed in alphabetical order:

+ RHP Tyler Baird (William A. Hough HS, NC; uncommitted): Premium arm talent and projectability in the lean 6-foot-4, 192-pound frame. Baird utilizes a longer, loose yet clean arm action into a lower three-quarters arm slot backed by big-time arm speed. An athletic mover who incorporates his lower half well and will repeat with minimal effort. Fastball lives in the low-90s with turbo sink and run that creates constant weak contact. Slider is quickly improving in the low-80s with short, tight break that misses barrels and showing the ability to add sweep at times. Changeup could end up as the best pitch in the mix with ability to kill both spin and velo at 81-83 with hard arm-side fade out of the same fastball tunnel. The uncommitted Junior presents above-average command throughout the arsenal, and can be a candidate for future velo as the frame continues to get stronger. Checks quite a few boxes at this point.
