WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Expectations for Team - Year in and year out we see teams make deep runs in May when they have depth on the mound and the offense has been tested throughout the season. AG will be tested in a very strong conference and they return several arms that have proven up to the test.

From the Coach, Expected Team Strength
Veteran pitching/players led by Josh Tripp (Chowan University), Ashton Watkins,  Cole Vaughan, and Bailor Peebles (NC Wesleyan) should carry them team aided by standout Juniors Jack Ewell and Camden Wilson who both are experienced varsity players.         

THOUGHTS ON THE CONFERENCE:

Eastern Plains 2A should be one of the top conferences in the state once again. Greene Central returns a stout line-up that carried them to the #1 seed last year while Farmville Central and SW Edgecombe who both made playoff runs return most of their lineups. West Craven and Washington who both made the playoffs last year will be tough opponents every night as well.
