3A-4 Regional Tournament

The 3A-4 Regional, begins Thursday at 10:00 AM at Smackover High School. The first day of games are always very competitive as each team’s season is online the line, in a win or go home scenario before seeding for the state tournament on Friday and Saturday.

A very tough region, all teams are competitive, so there will not be a surprise if an upset occurs. Last year Prescott defeated Smackover in the first round as a No. 4 seed. Fouke upset Horatio in a conference game this spring, they may have the best shot. Fordyce is tough with two veteran arms, so I am not putting them on upset alert. Overall I feel like No.1 and No.2 from both districts move on, with Horatio and Fordyce meeting in the finals, keep up with this match up you may see it again…
