4A North Regional Tournament

The 4A North Regional, begins Thursday at 10:00 AM at Prairie Grove High School. The first day of games are always very competitive as each team’s season is online the line, in a win or go home scenario before seeding for the state tournament on Friday and Saturday

Overall this looks to be a competitive tournament with all eight teams having a chance to move on to Ashdown and the 4A State Tournament. Expect low scoring affairs in the first round with each team having a pitcher that competes at a high level in the strike zone.

2016 OF Luke Price Dover HS: Physical outfielder with advanced bat speed that has the ability to change a game with one swing of the bat.

2016 ATH/RHP Gavin Heltemes Prairie Grove HS: A versatile player that has the ability to shut any team down when he is right on the mound. As a position player a plus athlete with raw offensive ability

2016 LHP Gunnar Gilbert Shiloh Christian HS: The veteran pitcher on a young and talented pitching staff. He commands the strike zone with a low 80's fastball and a 1/7 curveball with lat action.

2017 LHP Cole Wright Pea Ridge HS: Wright has been their guy in big games all spring expect for him to pitch impact innings if they are to advance to the state tournament.
