All Colorado Showcase: Quick Hits - 2021 Pitchers

LaSalle, COOn May 25, 2020, PBR Colorado enthusiastically welcomed 150+ prospects to the ALL-COLORADO Showcase. 2021’s, 2022’s and 2023’s safely gathered at BigFoot Turf in LaSalle, CO. Today we do our last Quick Hits for the 2021 Class of under-recruited Pitchers 

In the days and weeks following this event, we’ve been breaking down the top performances by category, starting with the Class of 2023 Pitchers, the ‘23 Hitters, the ‘22 Hitters, the '22 Pitchers, taking us to today’s topic covers more quality ‘21 Hitters.

By comparison, the 2020 Class had 110 College commitments overall. This 2021 class has 15 commitments at this time. PBR Colorado provides a list of 2021 pitchers worth your time and effort of a follow. Some great developing talent mentioned here. 

+RHP, Logan Moser (Eaton): Lean 6’4” 175 player loaded with potential. Slight coil in delivery. Demonstrated controlled in the zone. High 3⁄4 release. FB 84, has been up to 87. Great feel for CH 78 Still developing SL 72 

+SS/RHP, Jacob Weaver (Fruita Monument): Athlete on the mound right now. Plays a great SS and can Hit. Arm works with ease. FB up to 87 with higher ceiling. SL 71 CH76 Cant discount the potential he has as RHP or 2Way player in the future. 

+LHP, Bridgen Parker (Holly): Nice small town surprise LHP!! Consistent Repeatable delivery and his arm has clean arc and follow through In the zone! FB 85 SL 72 CH 74 Lots of room for growth and development. Watch for his continued development 

+RHP Cole Martino (Pueblo County): Refined easy delivery. FB up to 85 Big Frame adds intrigue to his potential velo increase! Lots of potential. Strike Thrower. Still developing off speed 

+RHP, Nolan McCracken (Windsor): Nolan continues to climb the Velo ladder. Noticeable development with strong body. Aggressive attacking style. FB 90 Hard SL 82(Late break, potential to be special) Strong desire and strong work habits with Nolan! 

+SS/RHP, TJ Rheem (Chapparal): Potential as RHP! Long lean body with potential for added strength! Looks the part on the mound Slight coil. High 3⁄4 release. FB 86 SL 74 Hard CH 79-80 2way athlete worth seeing 

+RHP, Nick Vilims (Evergreen): A lot of physical projection in 6'7 frame. Still developing as a RHP. OT release. Throws strikes. Refined movements on mound. Clean finish. FB 85 CH 79 SL 69 At 6’7” pretty easy to say Nick has high ceiling. Coachable player. Interesting Splitty 81-82 with great movement. Commanded the zone with the 2 pitches. Top Follow with high ceiling.
