After a two month search, Anthony Goncalves  has officially been named the VP of baseball operations and scouting for Prep Baseball Report - New York. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the continued success at PBR NY. I look forward to working alongside Dan and Jared and interacting with all the high school, travel, and college coaches”.

Anthony Goncalves brings 8 years of college coaching to PBR NY. He first severed as an assistant coach at Misericordia University where he was part of the start of 8 consecutive conference championships. After Misericordia, Anthony spent the next 5 years in the Philadelphia area—2 seasons at Arcadia University and 3 years at Jefferson University (formerly known as Philadelphia University). In addition to his years as a college coach, Anthony spent 2 summers coaching the Strasburg Express of Valley Baseball League where the Express won the 2016 VBL championship.

Most recently, Anthony joins PBR NY after serving as the Recruiting Coordinator and Hitting Coach at Jefferson University. The Jefferson hitting numbers increased in every category since his arrival in 2015. At Jefferson, Anthony coached multiple CACC Players of the Year and made it to the CACC championship game in 2016. Throughout his years of coaching, Anthony has recruited and coached multiple players that went on to play professional baseball.

 Anthony has relocated to the Southern-Tier and will begin his work this month out of the New York main offices.
