No. 3 SLUH 10     DuBourg 4

No. 5 Springfield Catholic 7   Mt. Vernon 4:  If he isn’t doing it o the mound, he is doing it at the plate, Austin Tribby went two for four with a double, four RBIs, and a run scored leading Catholic over Mt. Vernon.  Danny Richardson, Colin Shaughnessy, and Tim Gerwell each had an RBI for Catholic. Tyler Ast picked up the win, going six innings and allowing two earned runs.

No. 6 Clever 3      Strafford 2: Chance Wolfe threw a complete game, striking out seven and surrendering four hits, and led the Clever offense; going two for three with a double, triple, and an RBI.  Tyler Martin had two hits, and Ranger Curtis and David Pennewell each had an RBI.

No. 11 Rock Bridge won two games on the Lebanon Central Bank Tournament. The Bruins defeated Lebanon 9-0.  Ryan Schmidt threw a complete game, one hitter with nine strikeouts.  Beau Burkett went two for three with two RBIs and Jeffrey Ausmus had two hits.

In the second game, Rock Bridge blanked Eugene 5-0. Kyle Teter picked up the win, scattering four hits and striking out seven. Kory McDonald and Connor Brumfield each had two hits for Rock Bridge.

No. 15 Francis Howell Central 6    Ft. Zumwalt East 5: Jayden Lumpa and Travis Vaught each drove in two runs, while Ryan Howard went two for two with one RBI in Central’s win over Ft. Zumwalt East.  Clayton Luley got the win, going six innings with four strikeouts while scattering four hits and giving up one earned run.

No. 19 MICDS 2    Oran 9: A six run first inning for Class 1 Oran set the stage for the upset of Class 3 MICDS with a convincing 9-2 win.  Dalton Elfrink went two for four with a double, triple and three RBIs. Blake Carlyle, Jacob Priggel, and Alex Huering each had two hits on the day for Oran.  Seth Rossel got the win for Oran, going six and a third innings of seven hit ball and striking out seven batters.

Lindbergh 4   Oakville 0: Lindbergh RHP Jordan Harmon flirted with a perfect game on Friday afternoon, retiring the first seventeen batters he faced before giving up a single, the only hit of the game, with two outs in the sixth inning.

St. Mary’s 4    Affton 3: Adam Bieber and Colin McDonald threw a combined no hitter in a ten inning win over. Bieber went eight innings, and McDonough picked up the win in relief, hurling two innings of no hit ball.

CBC 4    Francis Howell North 0: CBC got an RBI from Justin Paulsen, Matt Vierling, Joe Schrimpf, and Paul Sullivan in the shut out of Howell North.  Robert Plohr threw a complete game allowing six hits and striking out three.

Kirkwood 10     Cedar Hill 0: Ryan Bearden picked up the win for Kirkwood, going five innings, striking out six, and allowing five hits.  Griffin Goodrich went two for three with two RBIs and two runs scored. Connor Jacobs had two hits, two RBIs, and three runs scored.

Webster Groves 7   Ladue 4: Pete Forsee pitched and hit his way in helping Webster Groves defeat Ladue 7-4.  Forsee went two for four with a home run, double, and three RBIs; and went five innings of four hit ball allowing two earned runs.  Peter Fairbanks had two hits, including a home run and drove in three. Kyle Uhrich also drove in a run for Webster.

Hickman 7   Grain Valley 0: Colby Fitch was a triple short of the cycle and drove in three runs leading Hickman over Grain Valley 7-0. Jake Alexander picked up three hits, and was a home run short of hitting for the cycle.

Potosi 11   Kingston 2: Lane Mercille gave up three his over six innings, and helped himself with two doubles and three RBIs in Potosi’s 11-2 win over Kingston. Dakota Glore had two double, a triple, and drove in five runs.
