No. 5 Ashland (16-2) 

No. 6 Anthony Wayne (17-1)

No. 7 Hudson (17-1) beat Massillon Washington 14-13. Ross McLelland led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk, stole second and scored on two wild pitches for the host Explorers.

No. 8 Moeller (15-4) 

No. 9 Mason (16-5-1) fell to No. 45 Kings 3-0.

No. 10 Avon (18-1) lost to No. 15 Willoughby South 5-0. Senior Cam Knott improved his ERA to .18

No. 26 Gahanna Lincoln (17-5) beat No. 47 Lakota West 3-2 and 3-1. 

No. 27 Chardon (16-2) took two from Brush in a doubleheader, 10-0 in game one and 11-1 in game two. Chardon banged out 24 hits in 10 innings as it won both games by mercy rule. In the first game, senior John Martillotta, a Toledo recruit, went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI while sophomore Drew Gittins raised his record to 2-0.

No. 29 North Canton Hoover (12-6)  fell to D-2 No. 13 Canton South 7-5. For Canton South, Deonte Settles had three RBIs and D.J. Wilson and Noah Mallen had two hits apiece. Will Haueter had two hits for Hoover.

No. 30 Mentor (7-6)

No. 32 Olentangy Orange (16-2) beat No. 46 Dublin Jerome 11-2 and Upper Arlington 6-1. 

No. 33 St. Ignatius (13-5)  beat Holy Name (10-7) 3-2. The Wildcats' Tim McCoy scored the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning on a throwing error and starter Scott Chase held the Green Wave to three hits while striking out five to raise his record to 3-0. Matt Lynch earned a save by striking out the side in the seventh inning. McCoy began the winning rally with a single.

No. 35 Tri-Valley (16-2) beat Indian Valley 4-3 in game one and 7-4 in game two.

No. 36 New Albany (14-7) lost to Thomas Worthington (16-6) 10-2 and won 14-3.

Byers struck out eight in going the distance and raising his record to 4-0. Shaker remained undefeated in the LEL with a 7-0 record.
