By: Zac Bottoms

Recruiting moves at a rapid pace, once the ball finally gets rolling, players in classes fly off the board from committed to uncommitted very quickly. I work daily to stay in the loop, on all that happens. For the majority of players in the 2017 class, some sort of recruiting has begun, and multiple players are making commitments each week. Here is a look at the top names that are uncommitted today.

Ross Carver, RHP, Benton HS

His fastball works 86-88 mph with late life. He has shown the ability to run his fastball as high as 90 mph. He throws a curveball as his secondary pitch at 72-74 mph with late break and sporadic command. Overall Carver is a solid athlete with a quick arm and fastball command

Andrew Roach, RHP, Springdale HS
Roach is a 6-foot-1 185-pound right hander with an athletic frame and build. He pitches from multiple arm slots but is most consistent from a low ¾ arm slot where he works 84-86 mph with sink.
