Bi-State Showcase Results

The Bi-State Showcase held Wednesday June 26th at John A. Logan College produced some quality performances, despite heavy rain and storms that blew through the area as the event began. With pitching and hitting moved inside, we saw some strong arms on the mound and bat speed from hitters in the cage.

Some highlights of the event include:
-Gabe Jelley from Zeigler-Royalton HS (IL) showing a stong arm on the mound, topping at 86-mph.
-Bailey Schrimpf from Zeigler-Royalton HS (IL)  with the top 60 time (6.75) and top outfield arm (80-mph).
-Aaron Cheatham from Herrin HS showing some power potential, and recording a top exit velocity of 83-mph off the bat.
