C/OF Lucas McDannold commits to Arkansas Tech

Class of 2012 C/OF Lucas McDannold (right), from Reeds Spring High School, has committed to play for Arkansas Tech next year. In late June, he impressed at the Prep Baseball Report Missouri’s SWMO Prospect ID event by flashing a 2.19 pop time, 80-81 mph arm, and smooth left-handed swing. He also ran a 7.39 60, which was the best by any catcher at the event.
