With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Cardington Lincoln Pirates

Team Name: Cardington Lincoln Pirates
Head Coach: Jack Bault
Division: IV
2018 Record: 6-17
Conference Record: KMAC, 3-11 (6th)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/7

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Versatility
  • Middle Infield

Coach Outlook: "In 2018 we played a lot of younger guys who gained valuable experience. We will bring back 7 starters from last years team who are ready to start winning some games. I believe that a realistic goal for us this season is to win 50% or better of our games and finish in the top 4 of the KMAC. Our league does an outstanding job of preparing us for tournament play. If things come together we can sneak up on a lot of teams this season and hopefully make a little run in the D4 Central District."
