PBR Arkansas is excited about our partnership with Mid-America Tournaments, to provide coverage on three tournaments throughout the summer. Thursday June 2^nd started our first tournament. The tournament is being hosted on the campuses of Central Arkansas, Central Baptist College, Hendrix and Little Rock. Below our notes our scouting staff has assembled.

2019 LHP Zach Morris FB 80-81 mph curveball 68-71 mph 1/7 gradual break
CU 70-72 mph quick loose arm repeatable mechanics,

2017 RHP Jacob Williams 84-86 mph flashed 88 mph with advanced 11/5 curveball 71-74 mph short quick arm action repeatable mechanics with slight head jerk,

2017 CIF Caleb Grace and 2017 OF Caleb Kimbrel show advanced bat speed and approach at the plate for Perfect Timing

2019 CIF Alex Langley impressed with double to opposite field gap. Large framed player with projectability for EI Sticks (Hood)

2018 RHP Brody Schlutter commanded the strike zone 76-77 mph with a feel for 3 pitches, pitching to contact Prospects

2018 RHP Landon Brown worked 84-86 mph with late sink, CU 71-74 mph with command and arm side run. Clean arm action with fast but repeated delivery.

2018 INF Dylan Thomas continued his good year showing a compact swing and balanced through extension (Prospects)

2017 RHP Hayden Arnold worked 81-84 showing command of fastball curveball and change up. He struck out 7 in three innings.

2017 RHP Tyler Moreland worked two innings in relief using a quick arm from a h 3/4 arm slot. His fastball worked 83-85 with a sharp slider. He struck out 3.

2017 Caleb Grace punched out 9 in 4 innings to pick up the win for Perfect Timing, while 2017 RHP Tyler Turner punched out the side in the 5^th to pick up a save.

2017 MIF Sam Box was key in the victory with 2 RBIs showing a compact swing that stayed on plane through extension.

2018 OF/INF Chandler Alaniz impressed for Perfect Timing Grey recording 3 hits and 2 RBIs. The versatile athlete attacked the baseball with fast bat speed and maintained balance through contact.

2017 OF Ethan Holmes had an explosive day going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. The physical outfielder has a slight uphill swing with raw strength.

2018 RHP Mark Clairday pitched well in relief, striking out 6 in three innings for Extra Innings Sticks 16. The large framed right hander pounded the strike zone with a fastball with downward action and complimented it with a change up to put hitter away.

2017 RHP Jalen Deshazier pitched 4 innings allowing 1 hit while striking out 7. His fastball worked 82-85 with late cut. He also commanded a curveball 70-72 mph with 12/6 shape and late break break.

2017 OF Isaac Disney showed plus speed running a 3.98 on a bunt for the Prairie Grove Generals. Defensively he showed solid instincts on balls in the air, with and an accurate arm with carry.
