Class One and Two Semi-final Predictions

Here we go again, picks for who will advance to the Class One and Two championships. We have some of the picks right, and this keeps getting harder and harder, but that won't stop us.

The four teams left in each class have fought and scratched their way through a long season, overcoming obstacles along the way to earn their spot in the semi-finals. Each team is deserving of taking home the championship, but only one can stale claim to the title.

It will be an excting few days, and be give to you our picks on who will advace to the championship games.

Class One Prediction
s

Santa Fe 7       Oran 4: Oran has played a tough schedule this season, but Santa Fe will come out guns a blazin behind the pitching and hitting of Andrew Curry and Keaton Graf. Look for Curry, Graf, Dalton Wilkinson, and Andrew Smith to have big games, advancing them to the championship game. Oran will put up a fight with Kody Moore and company challenging Santa Fe, but it won’t be enough to overcome.

Norwood 9     Sturgeon 2: Sturgeon has been the Cinderella of Class One, and while they will be playing with no pressure and nothing to lose, it won’t be enough to hold off Cody Hull and Ryan Jenkins, as Norwood will advance to take on Sante Fe for the Class One Championship.

Class Two Predictions
Valle Catholic 5          Summit Christian 3: We have picked against Valle Catholic in big games in the past, lesson learned the hard way. As potent as Summit’s offense has been this season, the pitching, defense, and timely hitting of Valle will keep Summit in check. Valle has played a very difficult schedule, and the challenge of that schedule will pay off as they knock off Summit Christian, putting an end to what was a very impressive and successful season.

Clever 8 South Callaway 4: As we have said before, Clever was a favorite to reach the state finals since the start of the season, and made us look good in getting something right with our predictions. With three pitchers that Clever can rely on, and an offense that has been consistent all year, Clever makes it back to the Class Two finals for the second year in a row.
