PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Storlie: I chose Minnesota State Mankato because it reminds me of my high school team and the coaches are unbelievable.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Storlie: I was considering Concordia St. Paul, University of Nebraska Omaha, and also St. Scholastica.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Storlie: They watched me at the state tournament this past year, and after that our relationship grew each day.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Storlie: Yes it feels great to have your college decision weight off your shoulders, but I still have my high school year to worry about, and the real work is yet to come.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Storlie: Having a great relationship with the coaches and the players at Minnesota St.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Storlie: My family and also my coaches.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Storlie: The recruiting process was very different to what I was expecting, but my family, friends and coaches helped me through the process and made my decision much easier.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Storlie: Introduce me into college baseball and see how spring training goes.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Storlie: Making it to state this past year in baseball, since it was the first time that Caledonia has made it to state in baseball.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Storlie: Tate Meiners
