PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Palmer: I Picked St. Scholastica because I felt like it was the right fit for me right when I stepped foot on campus.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Palmer: Bethel, and St. Mary’s.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Palmer: Coach Kemp first saw me at a PBR showcase earlier this summer and was the first coach to contact me. Coach Kemp then invited me to a prospect camp to meet the players and staff.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Palmer: Yes

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Palmer: There was not just one deciding factor, it felt like the right fit for me right away.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Palmer: My dad has been on my side through this whole process and helped me every step of the way.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Palmer: I thought it would be very difficult, but PBR made it very easy for me because it put me out in front of college coaches.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Palmer: Continue to get stronger.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Palmer: Hitting my first varsity baseball home run against Roseville.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Palmer: Drew Gilbert, because he is a great all around baseball player.
