PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Hansen: Bradley made me feel like they could develop me into the best player that I can be. The campus was great and the atmosphere made me feel at home.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Hansen: Minnesota State University, Mankato, Minot State, North Dakota State University, and North Alabama.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Hansen: They first saw me in a summer tournament in Indiana. The pitching coach then called me and we kept on having long discussions on the phone on what I need to work on and what Bradley was all about.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Hansen: Yes, it feels good to focus on getting ready for next season and to know where you’re going.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Hansen: The academics at Bradley are fantastic. Especially in Business in which I will go there for.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Hansen: Without the Minnesota Mash this would be impossible. The exposure and the level of play really helped me to where I am today.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Hansen: I had no idea what it was going to be like, but it was very difficult. It’s a mental grind trying to get yourself to the highest level knowing every move you make could make or break you.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Hansen: I am not 100% sure but if I show good development and fix some things hitting and pitching wise hopefully I can contribute to the team right away.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Hansen: Losing the high school state championship game

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Hansen: I do not know but all the teams we played while I was on MASH had really good competition.
