PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Stritesky: The atmosphere of the coach’s / team was great and the campus itself had a great feel to it.  Overall just a really good fit for me.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

StriteskySt. John’s and Northern State

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Stritesky: My high school coach had a conversation with the head coach at St. Thomas, then he came to watch me play during the Legion Season.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Stritesky: For sure.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Stritesky: The academics at St. Thomas really fit what I was looking for, specifically the business program.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Stritesky: Bret Mitchell at Starters Sports Training and the varsity coaching staff at Eden Prairie.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Stritesky: I expected it to be a lot more intense, but it was pretty laid back.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Stritesky: They want me to produce right away, maybe not starting, but they expect me to make an impact out of the gates.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Stritesky: 15AA Gopher State Championship Game vs Tonka

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Stritesky: Charlie Fischer, could not pitch around him.
