Tied 1-1 headed into the 7th, St. Rita's three-run top half was trounced by a four-run comeback victory for Montini Catholic. St. Rita's starter Diego Koval pitched six innings of one-run ball and allowed just three hits, two walks, and struck out seven before he was removed in the 7th. Montini's starter Benjamin Steiner matched Koval and allowed just one run over six strong innings, too. Errors led to the busy 7th for both sides and Montini came out on top. |
