Daniel Little and Griffin Neuer continue to swing hot bats for the Knights.  Little went 2-3 with a double, and Neuer went 2-4 with a triple and 2 RBI.  Connor O’Neil added 2 hits in the winning effort.  Neuer picked up the win with 3 scoreless innings of work.

#4 PRP 11  Eastern 1 (5 innings)
Ryan Hart went 3-3 with a triple, 3 RBI, and 3 runs scored, while Josh Beams added 2 hits and a RBI in the rout.  Greg Laughlin went the distance on the mound for PRP.

Newport Central Catholic 4  #5 Woodford County 2

#8 Lone Oak 10, Christian County 0 (6 innings)
Sam Goode went 3-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI, and Nick Shumaker added 3 hits, 2 RBI, and scored 3 runs in the Lone Oak rout.  Zach Roethemeyer worked 5 scoreless innings for the win.

#9 Paul Laurence Dunbar 4  Montgomery County 3
Connor Huskey and Joseph Graf each had 2 hits, and Aaron Ochsenbein struck out 9 in 3 1/3 innings of work.

Jordan Martin racked up 12 K’s in the 5-inning complete game shutout.

#18 Russell County 3  Marion County 2
Garret Stephens went 3-4, and Tyler Robertson allowed 2 ER on 4 hits and struck out 12 in going the distance for the win.

#22 Shelby County 7  Atherton 4
Kipp Moore went 3-4 with a triple, 2 RBI, and scored 3 runs, to lead Shelby County to the win.

Barren County 8  #24 Adair County 7

#25 Greenwood 16  #17 Apollo 6 (5 innings)
Trevor Brewer went 2-4 with a HR and 4 RBI, Nick Sanders went 3-3, and four other Greenwood players had multi-hit games as the Gators pounded out 16 hits in the rout.  Brewer worked 5 innings to pick up the win.

Berea 7  Casey County 3
Daniel Wilkerson went 2-4 with a double, and Hunter Wilson added a home run in the Berea win.  Gabe Long allowed just 2 hits and racked up 14 K’s in 6 innings of work to pick up the win.

East Jessamine 5  Scott County 4
Jacob Overstreet struck out 8 over 6 1/3 innings and Conner Lindsay recorded the final 2 outs as East Jessamine survived a 7th inning comeback bid by Scott County.

Corbin 11  Barbourville 1 (5 innings)
Corey Ledington went 3-4 with 2 RBI, and Nick Vorbeck doubled home 2 runs for Corbin.  TC Collins allowed just 1 hit in going the distance to record the win.

Franklin County 12  Thomas Nelson 6
Landon Kays had a big night at the plate going 3-3 with a double, triple, and 4 RBI.  Eric Andersen worked 5 innings to pick up the win.

Henry Clay 8  Letcher County Central 2
Mason Womack went 3-3 with a RBI, and Aarom McGeorge drove in 2 runs in the win.  Mark Dill allowed 1 ER over 5 innings with 7 K’s for the victory.

Larue County 5  Nelson County 4
Caleb Canter drove in 3 runs, and Cole Hughes went the distance on the mound striking out 8 along the way to pick up the win.

Hart County 7  Taylor County 1
Ethan Powell and Trey Johnson each collected 2 hits to lead Hart County.  Ross Thompson allowed 1 ER over 6 innings to pick up the win.

North Hardin 5  Breckinridge County 4
North Hardin scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th to win in walk-off fashion.  Lance Baker delivered the big blow, a 3-run double to lift the Trojans.
