Jack Butler
struck out nine in six innings of two-hit ball and Jack Guzek struck out the side in the seventh as the Crusaders needed just one run to extend their winning streak to 25. Guzek singled home courtesy runner Timmy Mahay in the fifth inning.

No. 3 St. Laurence 10, St. Francis 8
The Vikings trailed 8-7 before Jimmy Burnette hit a three-run homer in the top of the sixth. Anthony Rios had three hits and Angel Sandoval got the win with 2⅔ innings of scoreless relief.

No. 4 St. Charles North 4, Waubonsie Valley 3
Sam Faith
had a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth and Connor Joyce added a sacrifice fly in the sixth as the North Stars rallied from a 3-1 deficit. Jack Lambert struck out 11 in the complete-game victory.

No. 10 Providence 5, No. 6 Mount Carmel 1
Connor Creed
went the distance, limiting the Caravan to five hits while striking out six and walking two. Kevin Fitzgerald and Zach Pych each went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Providence. Drew Hunniford added two hits and scored two runs. Alek Thomas had two hits for Mount Carmel.

No. 8 Lincoln-Way North 7, Andrew 6
Tyler Strzelczyk
went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs and the Phoenix rallied from a 4-0 first-inning deficit in the rain-shortened victory.

No. 12 Sandburg 6, Bolingbrook 0
Kevin Lane
fired a one-hitter with nine strikeouts in the five-inning victory. Evan Tenuta had two hits and two RBI.

No. 15 Hinsdale South 9, Morton Cicero 4
Terrence Cribbs
had two hits and John Colucci pitched a complete game, allowing two earned runs and striking out seven, for the Hornets.

No. 17 Prairie Ridge 5, Dundee-Crown 4
Jacob Carpenter’s
RBI double in the bottom of the seventh won it for the Wolves. Bryce Thelander had a two-run double in the victory.

No. 19 Oak Park 10, Glenbard West 2
Joe Cundari
pitched a no-hitter, striking out six and walking four, in the six-inning victory. Jeremy Gaines went 3-for-3 with four RBI.

No. 20 Niles Notre Dame 5, St. Patrick 1
Nick Stefanowicz
struck out six in five scoreless innings of two-hit ball and Kevin Garcia had two RBI for the Dons.

No. 22 Normal Community 19, Urbana 2
Hayden Stoewer
hit two homers and had four RBI for the Ironmen. Justin Gorczyca went 2-for-2 with three RBI and Jake McCaw allowed a run on three hits with five strikeouts in four innings.

Naperville North 12, No. 23 Naperville Central 1
Jack Whitley
went 3-for-3 as the Huskies pounded out 14 hits in five innings to complete the three-game sweep. Eric Rodriguez had a two-run triple and Jack Ginzkey added two hits and two RBI for North.

Brooks Gosswein
pitched a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and two walks in the six-inning victory. Blake Swanson hit a home run for the Broncos.

Metea Valley 7, Wheaton Warrenville South 4
Jack Feeley
homered, scored three runs and drove in two as Metea finished off the three-game sweep. Trey Long allowed a run on three hits while striking out five in four innings of relief.

Zach Colangelo
pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and went 2-for-3 in the victory.

Lake Park 10, Glenbard North 2
Colin Fowich
homered, tripled and singled and Connor Cook allowed two unearned runs on three hits while striking out eight in six innings for the Lancers.

Carmel 2, Marian Central 1
Eddie Pietschmann
allowed a run on five hits in six innings and gave the Corsairs the lead for good with an RBI single in the third. Cooper Johnson went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Joe Santoro pitched a perfect seventh for the save.

Jack Snyder
struck out eight in six innings and Justin Janas had two hits and an RBI for Marist.

Marian Catholic 10, Joliet Catholic 0
Mark DiLuia
struck out six in five innings of two-hit ball and went 3-for-3 in the victory. Matt Clary had three RBI for Marian.

Fenwick 10, DePaul Prep 1
Anthony Cavalieri
went 3-for-4 with two triples and three RBI for the Friars. Jay Militello struck out 10 and allowed just one hit in six innings for the win.

St. Ignatius 5, Montini 3
Dylan Gilbert
hit his sixth homer of the season and had three RBI for the Wolfpack.

Libertyville 12, Nazareth 0
Tim Calamari
pitched a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and had an RBI triple in the six-inning victory. Ben Kimpler hit a home run and Colin Fields and Daniel Marks had three hits apiece for Libertyville.

New Trier 13, Lake Forest 3
Matt Kann
had four RBI and Dylan Horvitz homered for the Trevians. Jack French pitched five innings of two-hit ball for the win.

Warren 1, Deerfield 0
Christian Caban
pitched a one-hitter for Warren’s 10th shutout of the season. He struck out eight and walked two.

Homewood-Flossmoor 6, Lincoln-Way East 5
Zaid Walker
and Jordan Fox both went 2-for-3 and had RBI singles in the top of the seventh as H-F erased its 5-4 deficit.

Shepard 6, Oak Lawn 4
Rob Marinec
went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI for Shepard. Jack Carberry allowed five hits while striking out eight in the complete-game victory.

Lockport 7, Joliet Central 0
Ryan Gabriel
allowed three hits in six shutout innings in the rain-shortened victory. Gavin Lovesky homered for the Porters.

Ryan Davalos
pitched a four-hitter and went 2-for-3 with two RBI for Hoffman Estates. Kevin Howell added two hits and two RBI in the victory.

Trent McNally’s
two-run single in the bottom of the sixth plated the tying and go-ahead runs.

pitched 6 ⅔ innings and Brett Harris drove in two runs for the Huskies.

pitched a one-hitter and hit a home run in the six-inning victory. He went 3-for-4 with three RBI and with 10 strikeouts and two walks in the six-inning victory.
