The Thomas Dale offense continues to swing it well as they roll to a 9-2 victory over Dinwiddie on Thursday night.

Dinwiddie struck first with a sacrifice fly by senior Kavon Lewis making it 1-0 in the first inning, but hits and runs would be limited after that.

The Knights would threaten with runners in scoring position almost every inning and would eventually bring some runs across in the third. Thomas Dale would string together five total hits in the third, four in the first six hitters of the inning, to push six runs across making it 6-1 Knights.

Thomas Dale would put up a crooked number again in the fourth as they would get hits from Raphael Rodriguez and Cole Garrett in the inning and score two in the process, making it 8-1.

In the bottom of the fourth, Dinwiddie would start off what looked to be an inning that would allow them to climb back in, as the first two hitters reached via HBP. With runners on second and third and one out, Carson Miller hit a single through the left side. Kavon Lewis would score and Jackson Severt would try to make it closer, but Thomas Dale left fielder Dean Runyon threw Severt out at the plate and stop the Dinwiddie rally at 8-2 through the fourth.

Thomas Dale would scratch one more in the sixth and make it 9-2 and that would be the final as the #22 Knights continue to roll.

Ryan Hayzlett threw five innings, allowed three hits, one earned run, and struck out three. Caleb Stancil had two solid innings of relief, allowed one hit, and struck out one. Cole Garrett was two-for-three with two RBI. Raphael Rodriguez was one-for-four with two runs scored.

Colt Daulton threw three and two-thirds, allowed seven hits, five earned runs, and struck out four. Kavon Lewis threw two and one-third and allowed only one hit.
