Dutch Fork traveled up to TL Hanna to take on the Jackets in the 5A District 1 championship. Hann needed 1 win to advance to the Upperstate playoffs and did exactly that in the first game. TL Hanna would strike first on a Brett Boone RBI to take the early lead in the first inning. Dutch Fork would scratch across 1 run each in the 3rd and 4th to take a 2-1 lead. TL Hanna would then explode for 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning aided by 2 2R HRs by Bloomer and Craddock which would seal the Foxes' fate and send TL Hanna to the upper state playoffs.
