X-FACTOR

Brayden Gainey/Jon Allen.

OUTLOOK

Deep group in the lineup and on the mound. Lacks top-end stuff on the mound, but competes and throws strikes with some amount of pitchability. Hudson and Stephens will likely headline the staff. Gainey and Allen are going to be x-factors for the effectiveness of the bullpen. The lineup will have some thump and includes many mature, older hitters who will string together at-bats. There are a few in there that can run a little bit too. Overall, this is a team that is going to have to score and play defense to win games. If the staff limits the free pass, it will be a successful group.
