Leading up to the start of the junior college season, we will preview each team in the state. These previews are thanks to the coaches at each program along with information our staff has gathered.

Ethan Brown, LHP, Sophomore 6'3 190 L/L Record 3-1-1 57 K's, 7 BB, 40.2 IP, 3.54 ERA in 2020. Loose athletic lefty with good movement- velo up to 93 .

Edgar Alvarez, 1B, Freshman 6'4 230 L/R, .313 BA, 3 HR, .479 SLG%, Plus bat with pop as well as plus defender.

Corey King, 3B, Sophomore 5'10 175, R/R. 2019 stats .362 BA, .423 SLG%, .433 OB%, 10 SB.
Missed 2020 due to injury, All conference in 2019, Field rat player, knows how to win.

Rese Brown, RHP, Freshman 6'1 195 R/R, Transfer from USF, FB up to 94 with plus slider

Cameron Carter, RHP, Freshman 6' 185, R/R, Record 3-0, 41 K's 19 BB, 37.1 IP 2.65 ERA in 2020. FB up to 90 with elite spin rate on plus Curve ball

Christian Webb, C, Freshman 5'8 170, R/R. .215 BA 8 SB, in 2020, Athletic Catcher, Runs a 6.7 in the 60. Has greatly improved from last spring. 1.9 pop with strong arm and good defender. Line drive hitter with some pop.

Marcerio Allen, SS/2B, Freshman 5'10 175, S/R. Transfer from Kennesaw State, Athletic infielder with good swing from both sides of the plate.

Garrett Hester, LHP, Freshman 6'1 185 L/L. Transfer from Univ. of Alabama, LHP with FB up to 90 good BB with command.

OUTLOOK

The 2021 Raiders will be deep on the mound, should have a solid defense and looking for the returning hitters to improve their offensive output from 2020 and get impactful play from transfers and new freshmen.
