Final Regular Season Roundup

#4 Columbus North 7 Bedford North Lawrence 2 - Parker Shelton picked up the win throwing 6 plus innings with 8 ks. Braden Pelley hit a solo shot and Hunter Mcintosh, Mickey Bell, and Nick Wingate all doubled for the Dogs. They begin sectional play tonight Vs. Shelbyville at the Bloomington North Sectional.

#7 Andrean 11 St. Rita 2 - Matt DeSomer (2014) got the win pitching 4 strong innings and added 2 hits and 3 RBI. Mike Brosseau (2012; Oakland University) was 3-3 with 3 runs scored and a double and Cody Haver (2012; Olivet Nazarene University) chipped in with 3 RBI.

#21 Center Grove 7 Lawrence Central 6 – LC took a one run lead in the top of the 7^th, but CG scored two in the bottom to win it. Terrance Parks was 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Brice Laigle was 2-4 with two RBI, and Austin Combs was 2-4 with a double and two runs. Jay Prior and Kody Kavanaugh both had a double and a RBI.

University 17 Indiana Deaf 4 - Senior Matthew Skolnik was the winning pitcher in his first career start, allowing only two runs and striking out three.  Skolnik added two RBI at the plate. Senior Alex Nerney was 2-3 with three runs scored and drove in three. Junior Josh Etchberger had a pinch hit two run double for his first career hit. Matthew Padrick was 3 for 3 with three runs scored, two RBI and a double. Eric Wott was 2-2 with a double and four runs. Tyler Carlson struck out five in two innings of relief.

Hobart 8 Wheeler 1 - Jarrett Colvin (2013) earned his second win of the season.  Jake Ehrlich (2012; Prairie State) was 2-3 with a run, and Brandon Murray (2014) was 2-3 with a double, 2 runs, and 1 RBI. 

Wapahani 1 Blue River 0 – Reynolds threw a complete game allowing just one hit, walking two, and striking out nine. Estep drove in the lone run, after McKee tripled.

Fremont 7 Lakewood 4 – Glen McClain was 2-3 with three RBI and a run to lead to offense. Andrew Smith was 2-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run scored. Tanner wall was 2-4 and Jake Bryant scored three times.

Rensselaer Central 10 Tri-County 7 – Jake West and Chris Peterson both went 2-3 in the game, West doubled and scored twice and Peterson drove in two and scored once. Garrett Smith doubled and drove in a run and Jacob Foster had two RBI.  Lucas Vosburgh was 2-2 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs for Tri-County.

Southport 10 Triton Central 3 – Tyler Wampler was 4-5 with two RBI and a run, Casey Domek was 3-5 with a RBI, Terry Williams was 2-3 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs, and Chris Kuehr was 2-3 with a run.
