Caleb Freeman RHP / OF / P27 Baseball Academy , SC / 2021

Freeman turned in a HUGE performance at this years Border Battle. The big RHP ran his FB up to 91 in a dominate effort. The pitch shoed riding life through the zone from a H3Q arm slot. The FB produced an average spin rate of 2157 rpm. Freeman worked efficiently with a powerful delivery and showed feel for his secondary offerings. Since the Border Battle event Freeman has committed to UNC Greensboro.

Billy Amick 3B / RHP / P27 Academy, SC / 2021

Physical INF showed off his incredible raw power during his BP round putting balls onto the concourse past the left field bleachers. Amick has a powerful athletic approach maximizing his power with a strong lower half and quick hands. The infield actions are smooth and throws carry easily from the hot corner. Amick also laid down his best PBR sixty time at the Border Battle running a 6.84.

Sean Hollister RHP / Bishop England, SC / 2021

One of the top uncommitted arms left in our state did not disappoint. The lengthy RHP ran his FB up to 86 and showed a true slider in the 77-81 mph range. Hollister produced some solid spin numbers with a 2135 max FB spin rate and 2300 - 2475 rpm range on his slider. Hollister sports an uber projectable build and clean actions that will allow the frame to fill out as he matures and maintain the functionality in his delivery.

Parker Hocutt SS / 3B / Cardinal Newman, SC / 2022

Hocutt turned in one of the top all around performances of the day. The athletic infielder has actions that will allow him to play multiple infield positions as needed. His mix of strength and athleticism give him a high ceiling and there is moderate projection remaining, suggesting the stock will continue to rise. Hocutt recorded the 4th fastest max hand speed via Blast Motion and ended the event solidly in the top 10 in all of the Blast Motion metrics. He collected two hits in game play including lacing a double into the RF corner.

John Wimmer SS / OF / Rock Hill, SC / 2023

A must follow young infielder out of Rock Hill, SC. Wimmer has twitchy actions and is silky smooth from the SS position. He posted an 87 mph infield velo with accuracy. At the plate the swing has a naturally uphill finish, as his approach matures and he sees high level pitching he will continue to improve. Flashes easy bat speed and quick hands. Tons of upside and projection remaining.
