Game of the Day: Carlisle at Cedar Cliff
March 28, 2018
Cedar Cliff 10, Carlisle 3
Cedar Cliff began defense of its District 3 - 5A title from a year ago with a convincing, weather shortened 10-3 win over Carlisle on Tuesday. The Colts got offensive contributions up and down the lineup with every starter notching at least one hit.
Liberty commit Austin Bradbury went 4.1 innings for the win allowing two earned runs on just one hit while striking out 10. Louisville commit Bobby Whalen, Penn State Harrisburg commit Caden Malone, and uncommitted 2019 infielder Trey Law led the 10 hit attack with a hit and two RBI each. Law and Mount St. Mary's commit Dennis Snyder each had a double. Snyder was the lone Colts hitter to log a pair of hits. Whalen, Malone and Snyder each scored a pair of runs.
Carlisle was limited to three hits on the evening with senior Hunter Swartz driving in two runs.
