No. 21 Champaign Centennial (21-3, 10-1 Big 12) crushed Danville 13-5 behind Quin Nottingham and Dylan Grady. Nottingham had four hits, including two doubles and had five RBI. Grady had four hits including a double and had one RBI. Mason Jopp chipped in with two hits and two RBI for the Chargers.
CENTRAL STATE 8
No. 7 Chatham Glenwood (21-2, 13-0 Central State 8) overwhelmed Decatur MacArthur 15-0 in five innings.
No. 17 Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin (16-5, 11-2 Central State 8) defeated Springfield 6-3 behind Sean Mason and Justin Zanger. Mason had two hits including a double and had an RBI for the Cyclones. Zanger chipped in with a single and an RBI.
