4A Tournament 

Sectional 1:

Highland 12 Gary West Side 0 – Andrew Kinley got the win throwing four shutout innings allowing just one hit and striking out 11.

Lake Central 5 Munster 3 – Matt Litwicki threw a complete game to get the win on the mound allowing three runs and striking out four.

 

Sectional 2:

LaPorte 10 Valpo 1 – Nick Willoughby threw all seven innings to get the win allowing one run on five hits, striking out four. Travis Upp went 3-4 with two doubles and three RBI, Matt Pritz was 2-3 with a homerun and three RBI, Jordan Fadke went 3-4 with two RBI, Adam Nelson was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, and Brogan Briggs went 2-4 with three runs.

Chesterton 14 Merrillville 4 – Travis Brooks went 4-4 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Anthony Kurek went 2-3 with a homerun and three RBI, Matt Kubacki was 3-4 with a double and two RBI, Max Benoit was 2-3 with a homerun and two RBI, Owen Hallas hit a solo homerun and scored twice, and Patrick Tilden was 1-3 with two RBI and a run. Benoit got the win throwing four innings allowing one run on five hits, striking out seven.

 

Sectional 3:

Plymouth 9 Mishawaka 8

 

Sectional 4:

Northridge 5 Concord 3 – Matt Miller hit a three run homerun, Grant Miller had a RBI single, and Payton Carson had a triple and a run.

Warsaw 10 Elkhart Memorial 6 – Marselo Rodriquez had two hits and three runs, Cole Baker had three RBI, and Tyler LaFollette hit a solo homerun.

Sectional 6: Champ – Homestead

Homestead 4 Huntington North 1 – DJ Moore threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on six hits, striking out seven. Moore homered and drove in two, Brady Sheehan was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, Joey Deeter was 2-4 with two doubles and a runs, Drew Lunsford was 2-4 with a double and a run, and Derek Myers was 1-4 with a RBI.

FW Wayne 7 Jay County 1 – Brian Howell threw 6.2 innings to get the win allowing one run, four hits, and struck out seven. Bryson McKee went 2-3 with three RBI, Jerry Mullins was 2-3 with a double and two RBI, Jacob Fisher went 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Eli Mason was 3-4 with two runs.

Homestead 8 FW Wayne 2 – Bailey Wauch picked up the win throwing 4.1 innings allowing four hits, two unearned runs, and struck out six. Cameron Miller closed out the game throwing 2.2 shutout innings not allowing and hit and striking out five. Adam Newport was 1-4 with two RBI and a run, Ben Schwartz was 1-3 with two RBI, Matt Anderson was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, and Brady Sheehan had a RBI.

 

Sectional 7:

Kokomo 2 Western 1 – Jack Perkins got the win throwing six shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out six. Keyon Washington had a double and drove in a run and Kyle Wade was 2-2 with a run,

Logansport 13 Marion 0 – Carter Jones threw all five innings allowing just one hit and striking out six. Austin Muller went 3-4 with two doubles and four RBI, Garrett Looker went 2-3 with two runs, Xavier Luna was 2-4 with a double and two runs, and AJ Smith drove in three runs.

 

Sectional 8:

Hamilton Southeastern 5 Carmel 2 – Tanner Sizemore threw a complete game to get the win allowing six hits, two unearned runs, and struck out seven. Aaron McGee went 3-4 with a double, RBI, and a run, Nick Kiehl was 1-3 with two RBI, Jack Lang was 1-3 with a RBI and a run, JB Washburn was 2-4 with a run, and Matt Gorski was 1-4 with a RBI and a run.

Fishers 2 North Central 0 – Luke Duermit threw a complete game shutout to get the win allowing two hits and struck out 11. Caleb Brenczewski doubled and drove in a run, Joe Michel was 1-3 with a RBI, Brandon Yoho doubled and scored, and Brendan Toungate was 2-3 with a run.

 

Sectional 9:

Pendleton Heights 5 Richmond 3 – Spencer McCool had a two run single and Noah Etchison had a RBI double.

 

Sectional 10: Champ – Lawrence North

Cathedral 10 Roncalli 1 – Jared Poland homred and drove in three runs, Johnson was 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Mullin was 1-3 with a homerun two RBI and two runs, and Adam Neal was 2-4 with a RBI. Ashe Russell got the win throwing a complete game allowing one run on six hits, striking out nine.

Lawrence North 9 Lawrence Central 1 – Nolan Watson struck out 11 in a complete game win allowing one run on two hits. Justin Reed went 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Tyler Hofmann was 1-4 with two RBI and a run, and Coby Taylor was 1-4 with a RBI and a run.

Lawrence North 5 Cathedral 3 – Coby Taylor was 3-3 with a homerun and two RBI, Duncan Hewitt went 1-3 with a RBI, Tyler Hofmann doubled, and Nolan Watson was 1-4 with a run. Myc Witty got the win throwing a complete game allowing three runs on five hits, striking out nine.

 

Sectional 11:

Pike 7 Perry Meridian 5 – Warner got the win throwing a complete game allowing two earned run, six hits, and struck out five. Hunter went 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Jordan Garrett was 1-2 with a double and two RBI, and Hatcher was 2-4 with a run scored.

 

Sectional 14:

Bloomington South 7 Columbus East 6 – Devin Buchtman went 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Henry Niswander homered and drove in two run, Tyler Van Pelt went 1-2 with a RBi, and JC Lukens was 1-3 with a RBI. Cameron Prince threw a complete game allowing four earned runs and struck out seven.

Bloomington North 3 East Central 1 F/10 – Dominik Duke struck out 20 batters in the win, throwing nine innings allowing one unearned run. AJ Willias drove in the winning run breaking a 1-1 tie with a RBI double.

 

Sectional 15:

Floyd Central 11 New Albany 6 – Austin Newell went 2-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs, Colton Kimm was 2-4 with three RBI and a run, Trey Fulton was 3-4 with three runs, Brandon Smith went 2-2 with a double, RBI, and a run, and Phillip Archer doubled and drove in a run. Wyatt Cherry got the win in relief throwing four shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out three.

 

Sectional 16: Champ – Evansville Reitz

Evansville Reitz 2 Evansville Central 1 – Evan Deig got the win throwing six innings allowing one run on three hits, striking out seven.

 

3A Tournament

Sectional 17:

Griffith 34 Gary Roosevelt 0 – Joe Martoccio went 4-5 with two doubles, five RBI, and three runs, Josh Terzarial went 3-3 with a triple, four RBI, and three runs, Kody Hoese went 3-3 with a double three RBI, and four runs, Julian Rutherford went 2-4 with a RBI and three runs, and Anthony Quintero went 1-3 with two RBI and three runs. Troy Cullen (three innings, seven strikeouts) and Ryan Nunez (two innings, four strikeouts) combined for a five innings no hitter.

Hammond Gavit 10 Hammond Clark 5 – Jorge Perez led the offense going 3-4 with a double, three RBI, and two runs.

 

Sectional 18:

Hanover Central 11 Knox 1 – Riley Welch led the offense going 2-3 with a homerun and five RBI. Jose Sanchez was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and four runs, Jesse Wilkening doubled, drove in two, and scored twice, and Daniel Balich was 1-2 with a RBI. Dylan Knutsen got the win throwing all five innings allowing one run on two hits, striking out five.

 

Sectional 19:

SB St. Joe 10 Culver Academies 0 – James Whiteman threw a six inning no hitter to get the win allowing just one walk and striking out 11. Tony Carmola led the offense going 4-4 with a double, homerun, three RBI, and three runs. Connor Gentry was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, Daniel Torres was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and three runs, Matt Potter was 2-3 with a RBI, and Max Harrison was 1-2 with a RBI and a run.

Jimtown 3 Mishawaka Marian 1 – Nick Floyd threw a complete game to get the win allowing one run on seven hits, striking out 12.

 

Sectional 20:

Benton Central 13 West Lafayette 3 – Zach English went 2-4 with a homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Sam Smith was 3-3 with a double and two RBI, Henry Fishers was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Blake Morin was 2-2 with four runs, and Brett Shoults had three RBI. Smith threw all five innings allowing three runs on six hits, striking out five.

 

Sectional 21:

West Noble 6 Lakeland 4 – Drew Wiley went 1-3 with two RBI and a run, Levi Nelson was 1-3 with a RBI, Fernando Luevano was 2-4 with a run, and Riley McFarren doubled and scored. Waylon Richardson got the win throwing a complete game allowing seven hits, no earned run, and struck out nine.

NorthWood 11 Tippecanoe Valley 1 – Chad Sellers got the win throwing five innings allowing one run on four hits. Dominic Miranda had a single, doubled, four RBI, and two runs.

Wawasee 9 West Noble 0 – Gage Reinhard threw a three hit complete game shutout to get the win. Gage Reinhard and Andrew Wright each had two RBI, Reinhard had four hits.

 

Sectional 22:

New Haven 11 Leo 10 – New Haven came back from a 10-3 deficit to win, with Sean Ferguson hitting a game winning sac fly.

Bishop Dwenger 6 Angola 5 – Noah Freimuth went 2-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Skyler Noll doubled and drove in two runs, Cody Miller was 2-3, and Jared Gernhardt had a RBI. Parker Noll got the win in relief throwing 2.1 shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out two.

Garrett 11 FW Concordia 5

 

Sectional 23:

Bellmont 11 Columbia City 0 – Mason Shinaberyy went 3-3 with three RBI and a run, Austin O’Campo was 3-3 with a RBI and two runs, Josh Brune went 2-2 with two RBI and two runs, Jordan Amacker was 2-3 with two runs, Adam Weaver went 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, and Jake Hall doubled and drove in two runs. Parker Zeser got the win throwing three innings allowing two hits and striking out six.

Northfield 4 Norwell 3 – Remington Monce got the win throwing a complete game allowing three runs and striking out 11. Shane Vigar went 2-2 with a double, homerun, and three RBI, Drake Richter was 2-3 with a triple, RBI, and a run, and Adam Roser was 2-3 with a double and two runs.

Heritage 2 Mississinewa 1 – Branson Dossen struck out 11 in a complete game win allowing just one hit and one unearned run. Jacque Jacquay was 1-1 and drove in both runs, William Lomow was 2-3 with a double and scored both runs, and Matthew Gibson was 1-2.

Bellmont 8 Northfield 2 – Jordan Hilyard got the win throwing a complete game allowing two runs on seven hits. Mason Shinaberry wetn 3-4 with two RBI and a run, Austin O’Campo doubled twice and drove in a run, Drew Dobbles went 2-3 with a RBI and a run, Brett Baker doubled, drove in a run, and scored once, and Parker Zeser doubled and drove in a run.

 

Sectional 24:

Muncie Central 4 Delta 3 – Joe Scruggs got the win on the mound throwing a complete game allowing three runs on eight hits. Corey bell was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Austin Hirons doubled and scored, Storm Rollins was 1-4 with a RBI, and Joe Gallatin was 1-3 with a run.

 

Sectional 26:

New Palestine 3 Chatard 2 – Keegan Watson hit a solo homerun to tie the game in the sixth and hit a sac fly to give New Pal the lead in the top of the seventh. Wes McBride went 1-4 with a RBI, Tyler Woodcock went 2-2 with a double and a run, and Andy Edwards was 1-2 with a run. Zach Lovell struck out 10 in a complete game win allowing just one hit and no earned runs.

Brebeuf 1 Guerin Catholic 0 – Leo Watson’s second hit of the day was a walk off RBI single to send Brebeuf to the sectional champ game. John Troll threw a complete game shutout to get the win allowing five hits and striking out seven.

 

Sectional 28:

Owen Valley 12 Brown County 2 – Chase Roberts went 2-3 with a homerun and five RBI, Ryne Heckman went 2-3 with two RBI and two runs, Hunter Sturgeon went 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, and Bo Elliot went 1-3 with two RBI. Heckman threw all five innings allowing two hits, two unearned runs, and struck out four.

Silver Creek 17 Corydon Central 0 – Cody Razer led the offense going 4-4 with a double, five RBI, and two runs. Brahm Whittinghill was 2-4 with two RBI and three runs, Logan Murphy went 2-3 with two RBI and a run, Brian Campbell was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, and Bradley Reiter was 3-3 with three RBI. Matthew Jewell threw three innings allowing four hits and struck out two to get the win.

Sectional 32: Champ – Mt. Vernon

Mt. Vernon 6 Boonville 4 – Cody Mobley struck out 15 in a complete game win allowing four runs on six hits to get the win. Logan Brown tripled, drove in three runs, and scored once, Walker Paris had a RBI, Mobley was 2-2, Austin Krizan doubled and scored, and Bryce Krizan was 1-3 with two runs.

Evansville Memorial 9 Gibson Southern 4 – Will Durcholz went 3-4 with a RBI, Will Wimber went 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, Ben Stachowsk was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs, Adam Eberhard tripled and drove in two runs, and Drew Asheley was 1-2 with two RBI and two runs. Eberhard got the win in relief throwing four shutout innings allowing one hit and striking out three.

Mt. Vernon 6 Evansville Memorial 5 – Trailing 5-0 in the fifth Mt. Vernon put up a six spot in the frame to take the lead for good. Walker Paris was 3-3 with two RBI and a run, Brian Hensley went 2-3 with a run, and Logan Brown was 1-3 with two RBI and a run. Austin Krizan got the win throwing five innings allowing one earned run, six hits, and struck out three. Hensley closed out the game throwing two shutout innings allowing one hit and striking out two.

 

 

2A Tournament 

Sectional 34:

Lafayette Central Catholic 6 Delphi 4 – Dylan Kiracofe had a big game, at the plate he went 2-4 with a grand slam and five RBI and on the mound he got the win throwing 4.2 innings allowing four runs on four hits, striking out six. Nate Weircoich picked up the save throwing 2.1 shutout innings. Ben Metzinger was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, Ben Tharp doubled and scored, and Luke Schrader was 1-3 with two runs.

 

Sectional 35: Champ – Bremen

Bremen 7 Westview 4 – Bryce Cassell threw a complete game to get the win allowing three earned runs, seven hits, and struck out five. Brett Louderback was 2-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run, Dustin Vuittonet was 1-3 with a double and two RBI, Jacob Pierce was 2-3 with a run, and Strehler was 1-1 with a double and two runs.

 

Sectional 36:

Bluffton 5 Eastside 3

Churubusco 8 Woodlan 2 – Jackson Wickliffe led the offense going 2-4 with a homerun and five RBI. Josh Howk was 2-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run, Devin Peters was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Justin Schoeph was 1-3 with two runs. Jacob Howe got the win throwing 6.1 innings allowing two runs on five hits, striking out four.

 

Sectional 37:

Cass 14 Manchester 1 – Cass scored nine runs in the first and didn’t look back to advance to the sectional championship game. Ryan Bixler hit a homerun and Jake Wilburn got the win throwing four innings allowing one run.

 

Sectional 38:

Seeger 6 Clinton Central 4

Southmont 6 Fountain Central 4 – Devin Miller went 3-4 with a double and a RBI, Zach Worm went 2-3 with two RBI and a run, and Mitch Dehne was 2-4 with a run. Boone Welliever got the win throwing 4.2 innings allowing two runs on five hits, striking out six.

Cardinal Ritter 18 Irvington Prep 2 – Kyle Matter went 2-2 with three RBI, Brian Bacon was 2-2 with two RBI and two runs, Isaac Wynne was 1-1 with two RBI and a run, Luke Sherrer was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Blake Malatestinic went 2-3 with two RBI, Matt Bottroff doubled and scored four times, Griffen Miller was 2-2 with a RBI, and Eric Frichley went 1-1 with two RBI and two runs.

 

Sectional 44:

Cascade 19 South Putnam 1 – Mitch Duncan and Schuyler Hart led the offense in the win, Duncan went 3-3 with a double, triple, five RBI, and two runs and Hart was 4-5 with a double, triple, two RBI, and three runs. Ty Comer was 1-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Nate Stonebraker was 1-2 with a RBI and a two runs, and Tucker Estes was 2-2 with two runs. Sawyer Donovan got the win throwing all five innings allowing two hits, one unearned run, and struck out eight.

 

Sectional 46: Champ - Clarksville

Clarksville 4 Providence 3 – Clayton Haus went 2-3 with two RBI, Cody Leonhardt was 2-4 with a RBI, Wyatt Kissel had a RBI, and Seth Hamilton scored twice. Kissell got the win throwing a complete game allowing one earned run, five hits, and struck out five.

Eastern 7 Henryville 3 – Austin Roberts threw a complete game allowing three runs on three hits, striking out three. Nathan Smith was 2-3 with two RBI, Tyler Churchman was 2-3 with two runs, Brant Stewart was 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Jacob Stewart was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Austin Hedrick was 1-3 with a RBI.

Clarksville 10 Eastern 3 – Justin Lind went 2-3 with a double, solo homerun, and two RBI, Cody Leonhardt was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Seth Hamilton was 1-3 with three runs, and Clayton Haus was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs. Ethan Cummings got the win throwing a complete game allowing one earned run.

 

Sectional 47:

Sullivan 13 Eastern Greene 1 – Sheridan Sater went 3-4 with three RBI and a run, Samuel Steimel went 3-4 with three runs, Evan Conner was 2-4 with a triple, RBI, and a run, Jonathon Cox tripled and drove in three runs, and Cody Turner was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs. Conner got the win throwing five innings allowing one hit and one unearned run, striking out six.

South Spencer 14 Tell City 1 – Tyler Schneider was 2-4 with a homerun and two runs, Jon Michael Stallings was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Sammy Rowan tripled, had a RBI, and scored three tmes, and Kobe Stephens went 2-4 with a triple and a run. Jesse Stallings got the win throwing five innings allowing one run on four hits, striking out six.

Forest Park 5 Mater Dei 2 – Ben Wendholt got the win throwing a complete game allowing two runs on eight hits, striking out six. David Lusk homered and drove in three runs, Wendholt was 1-2 with a RBI, Trever Zink was 2-2 with two runs, and Jaxon Cronin was 1-2 with a run.

 

 

1A Tournament 

Sectional 50:

North White 5 South Newton 2 F/8 – Clint Hendress went 2-3 with two doubles and two RBI, his second double brought in the first run in North White’s three run top eighth. Caleb Hendress was 1-3 with a RBI, Cole Frybort was 3-4 with a double, and Jake Quasebarth went 2-4. Luke Diener got the win throwing seven innings allowing two runs, one hit, and struck out 10. Caleb Hendress threw a perfect eighth inning to get the save, striking out two.

 

Sectional 52:

FW Blackhawk 10 Hamilton 0 – Andrew Pierce threw all six innings to get the win allowing just one hit and struck out seven. Nathan Moonen was 2-4 with a double, homerun, three RBI, and two runs, Riley Reimchisel and Nathan Targgart each went 2-3 with a RBI and two runs, Bailey Sheldon was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Spencer Lee went 1-2 with a RBI and a run.

 

Sectional 53:

North Vermillion 4 Attica 3 – Lance Warner struck out nine in a complete game win allowing one earned run and four hits. Zach Buchhaas went 2-2 with a solo homerun, Trent Zumwalt doubled and drove in a run, and Brandon Dillon had a RBI.

Rockville 14 Covington 2

 

Sectional 54:

Frontier 10 Faith Christian 0 – Michael Hart threw all five innings allowing three hits and striking out four. Hirt doubled and drove in two runs, Dakota Burghardt was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs, Cole Fesler and Jarrett Burroughs went 1-2 with a RBI and a run, and Zeb Davis doubled and drove in a run.

Sectional 55:

Daleville 15 Wes-Del 0 – Wes Biven homered and drove in three, TJ Price was 2-2 with a homerun, two RBI, and four runs, and Brandon Vermillion was 2-3 with three RBI.

Cowan 6 Monroe Central 2 – Luke Miller threw a complete game allowing two runs and struck out eight. Isaiah Covington doubled and drove in four runs.

 

Sectional 56:

Seton Catholic 10 Tri 9 F/8 – Trey Bartkus went 4-5 with a double and four RBI, Desmond Bane was 4-5 with a RBI and three runs, Jacob Rogers was 3-5 with two RBI and two runs, Colten Pipenger was 3-4 with a RBI and a run, and Nick Matthews was 1-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs.

Blue River Valley 16 Randolph Southern 1 – Pete Wissel had a big game at the plate going 3-4 with a double, two homerun, four RBI, and three runs. Noah Brown was 3-3 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Jason Asberry was 3-4 with a double, four RBI, and two runs, Seth Webb was 3-4 with a double two RBI, and three runs, and Trey Klein was 2-4 with a RBI and a run. Webb threw three innings to get the win, allowing one run, one hit, and struck out five.

 

Sectional 57: Champ – Shakamak

Shakamak 13 Clay City 0 – Dylan Collins went 2-4 with a double, homerun, four RBI, and two runs, Green went 2-3 with a double and three RBI, Walters was 3-5 with two RBI and two runs, and Cole Sanders was 1-1 with a double, two RBI, and a run. Braxton Yeryar threw a complete game shutout in the win allowing two hits and striking out eight.

 

Sectional 61: Champ - Orleans

West Washington 4 Trinity Lutheran 3

Orleans 12 Springs Valley 0 – Chase Hall struck out 12 throwing all five innings allowing just one hit to get the win. Steven Phillips went 3-4 with two RBI and two runs, Jason Mosson was 2-3 with a double, two RBI, and a run, Burton Gerkin was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, Hall was 1-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Matt Holdcroft was 1-2 with a RBI and a run.

Orleans 18 West Washington 0 – Cale Hall went 3-3 with a double, homerun, two RBI, and three runs, Jason Mosson was 3-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Duncan Gerkin was 2-2 with a RBI and two runs, Andrew Robinson was 1-1 with two RBI and a run, and Burton Gerkin was 1-3 with two RBI and two runs. Mosson was dominant on the mound striking out 13 in five innings to get the win, allowing just three hits.

 

Sectional 62: Champ - Borden

Borden 3 Christian Academy 0 – Kyle Kruer was dominant on the mound throwing a one hit complete game shutout, striking out 16 to get the win. Lucas McNew hit a solo homerun, Noah Hart was 1-3 with two RBI, Caleb Hart was 2-4 with a run, and Kruer was 1-4 with a run.

 

Sectional 63:

Vincennes Rivet 21 Shoals 0 – Peyton Cummins went 4-5 with a triple, three RBI, and two runs, Tanner Thomas was 3-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs, Tanner Allen was 3-3 with three RBI and four runs, Austin Woodruff went 3-5 with a double, four RBI, and a run, Andrew Lehman was 3-5 with two runs, and Lance Lane went 2-5 with two RBI and two runs.
