Indiana's Top 10 Viewed Stories for 2014: No. 1- T.J Collett Named IN Player of the Year

As we are at the end of another calendar year, we have counted down the top ten most viewed Indiana news stories of 2014.  According to our research through our google analytics, these are the most viewed news stories by you the reader in 2014.

1.  The Hotlist: 2014 Players of the Year

The most read news story for 2014 was originally posted on June 18th when we announced the Player of the year.

With every high school season wrapped up this week’s Hotlist looks at the Players of the Year for most of the states in Prep Baseball Report’s coverage area. 

 T.J. Collett, C, Terre Haute North HS, IN

The No. 1 player in Indiana's 2016 class and No. 2 in the Overall Rankings has had an exceptional sophomore campaign, earning him the honor of 2014 Indiana Player of the Year. The Kentucky recruit is a big reason why the Patriots will play for the Class 4A state championship Friday night at Victory Field in downtown Indianapolis. Collett leads the state in home runs (17), slugging percentage (1.341) and on-base percentage (.680). He is also in the Top 20 in batting average at .524 and is second in the state with 51 RBIs.
