Initial Class of 2013 Rankings

By Chris Fuller

After scouting and compiling information over the last several weeks, PBR Kentucky has released the initial class of 2013 player rankings.

Woodford County right-handed pitcher Clinton Hollon tops the list.  Hollon, the Kentucky recruit and projected high round draft pick, is one of the top power arms in the country.  His fastball is regularly clocked at 92-94 mph, and he has topped out at 97.

Hunter Green, also a Kentucky recruit, sits in the two spot behind Hollon.  The 6-foot-4, 160-pound left-handed pitcher from Warren East was one of the top arms at the Under Armour All American game last month at Wrigley Field in Chicago.  The long, loose lefty features an 88-92 mph fastball with plus movement and well developed off-speed pitches.  With his long frame having plenty of room to fill, it's easy to imagine more velocity to come from Green.

The top ten is rounded out by North Oldham short stop Connor Heady (Kentucky recruit), Central Hardin left-handed pitcher Andrew Harrington (Louisville recruit), Tates Creek outfielder/shortstop Javon Shelby (Kentucky recruit), Kentucky Country Day second baseman Will Smith (Louisville recruit), Green County right-handed pitcher Brennen Milby (Ohio State recruit), Lexington Catholic outfielder Logan Taylor (Louisville recruit), Holy Cross third baseman Blake Tiberi (Louisville recruit), and Lexington Catholic two-way prospect Evan Fraliex.
