PBR: Why did you choose Ohio Dominican?

Daniel: I chose Ohio Dominican because I fell in love with it as soon as I stepped foot on campus. The facilities and coaches are some of the best around and I love the small school big city feel to it.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Daniel: Wittenberg, Ohio Wesleyan, and Muskingum

PBR: Where did Ohio Dominican first see you? How did your relationship develop with coaching staff?

Daniel: The coaches never really saw me play in person. My summer coach reached out to them with a lot of my videos from the season and they showed a bit of interest.  I contacted Coach Hull and from there we just started talking almost on a daily basis before I visited the school.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?

Daniel: To go out and compete for a starting job.

PBR: What summer team do you play on and how has travel baseball helped your development as a player?

Daniel: I play for the Midwest Prospects/RPM. I think it has helped me develop as a player because we have a very tough summer schedule and play some very high level teams. Coach Miller believed in going 100 miles an hour the entire game and lets us learn from our successes and failures on the field.

PBR: What was the most memorable experience from this summer?

Daniel: Winning the 18u ABC at Grand Park as a 17u team.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

Daniel: My whole family have been huge supporters throughout my baseball career and enabled me to travel with high level teams to very competitive tournaments.

PBR: What were your stats for this last season?

Daniel:  For the summer and high school season I hit .381 with 20 2B, 4 3B, 5 HR, and 55 RBI.

PBR: Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in Ohio?

Daniel: Drew Rom or Cole Ayers. Both guys are great competitors.
