Jefferson College signs three Missouri prospects

Jefferson College added to their Class of 2012 recruiting class, signing three top prospects. INF Zach Lavy from North Calloway HS, Matt Feldt from Lindbergh HS, and Brian Read from Truman HS will join a Vikings program that  finished the season with their 15th MCCA and an appearance in the NJCAA World Series.

Zach Lavy was a 2nd team selection by the Missouri Sportswriters and posted impresive numbers at the plate. Lavy batted .529 with seven doubles, six triples, one home run, and thirty seven RBIs.

Matt Feldt was named First Team All Suburban West Conference last season as a junior, batting .385 with four doubles, one triple, twenty eight stolen bases and a team leading .505 On Base Percentage.

Brain Read is a switch hitting outfielder.
