- Catcher Avery Smith laced the 1st pitch of the game for a ground rule double. Smith also walked and later scored on a wild pitch in the 4th inning.

- RHP Jordan McCahan worked the 1st 3 innings allowing 3 hits and 2 runs while striking out 4, including striking out the side in his final inning of work.

- RHP Christian Lucarelli went the distance allowing just 2 hits while striking out 8 and walking just 1.

- Team PA hitters erupted for nine runs on eight hits in the first inning with Tyler Maddix' double being the lone extra base hit.

- Avery Smith continued to swing a hot stick going 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. Through 2 games Smith is now 3-for-3 with a walk and has scored a pair of runs.

- RHP Drew Turner worked 4 innings allowing two runs on five hits while striking out 7. The right-handed hitter also hit a first inning solo home run that traveled over 300 feet.

- Tyler Maddix continued to showcase an advanced feel for the barrel with two hits including a ground rule double.

- Kyle McKernan went 2-for-2 with two RBI.

- Avery Smith continued his torrid pace at the plate reaching base twice on a single and a base hit.

- Christian Lucarelli made a highlight reel diving play for an out in the hole at shortstop.

- Tim Birch showcased his athleticism in the outfield cutting down a runner at home on a throw from center field.
