Matt Klein went 2-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBI, Brady Willis went 2-for-3, and Paul Osting doubled and drove in 2 runs in the win. Kyle Campbell allowed just 1 hit over 5 IP with 5 K’s.

Dixie Heights 13, #2 Frederick Douglass 9
Jay Flynn went 4-for-5 with a RBI, Logan Wilson went 3-for-5 with a double and 2 RBI, Ethan Bosley tripled and drove in 2 runs, and Gabe Thelen went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI as Dixie Heights handed Frederick Douglass their first loss of the season. RJ Parks went 2-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI in the loss.

Zach Marks had a 3-for-4 night, and Ryan Comella went 2-for-3 with a double in the Tigers win. Jake Gregor allowed 2 hits over 5 scoreless innings with 6 K’s and Ty Starke struck out 4 over the final 2 innings to complete the shutout.

Sam Bevin pitched well in relief allowing just 1 hit and 1 run with 5 K’s over 4 IP, but the Ballard offense, despite drawing 11 walks, was unable to cash in on scoring opportunities in the one-run defeat.
