Kevin Mahoney Named Head of Business Development for PBR NY/PA

The Prep Baseball Report (NY/PA) is pleased to announce Kevin Mahoney as their head of Business Development. Mahoney will help strength cooperate relationships within the region, bring business strategies and brand awareness, while also connecting local businesses to high traffic PBR NY/PA areas. Mahoney brings more than 25 years of professional baseball front-office experience to the Prep Baseball Report (NY/PA).

Mahoney, whos most recent job has been with the Brooklyn Cyclones since 2002, continuing a career in Minor League baseball that dates back to 1995. Mahoney has been the General Manager of the Brooklyn Cyclones for the past seven seasons.

Mahoney's professional career started with the Newark Barge Bandits, of the Independent North Atlantic Baseball League, as the Assistant General Manager, while being elevated to General Manager in year two. His career then made a fast move south to the St. Lucie Mets in 1997 (Florida), where he spent nearly two seasons as the assistant General Manager.

Mahoney then served as the Director of Baseball Operations, Director of Corporate Sales, and Group Sales Manager for the Binghamton Mets, from May of 1998 to December of 2001, getting Mahoney back to his home state (NY). Mahoney is originally from Port Washington, NY and graduated from SUNY Brockport. Mahoney was a member of the baseball team during his time at Brockport. He currently lives on Long Island (NY).
