With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Uniontown Lake Blue Streaks

Team Name: Uniontown Lake Blue Streaks

2018 Record: 19-9
Conference Record: Federal League, 6-6
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/5

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Pitching
  • Hitting

Coach Outlook: "We are returning a lot of starters with a lot of plus arms. The majority of our players will be in there third year as starters. Our leadership is very strong. We are being led by Sinclair Commith RHP Paul Troyer, Malone commit Cameron Martin, Nebraska commit Carson Nicodemo. We return two players in sr. SS Garrett Obourn and sr. LHP/OF Noah Collins who each had 37 hits last season. Kaden Davis is a name that a lot of people will know about at the end of the year. We have a lot of depth. If we play like we can play and we continue to be great leaders we have a chance every night of the week."

  • Cameron Martin Sr. 3 year starter 3B Malone Commit
  • Paul Troyer (Video) Sr.  3 year staff ace Sinclair Commit
  • Carson Nicodemo: 3 year starter jr. Nebraska Commit
  • Kyle Aten: JR RHP was 6-0 last season honorable mention last year
  • Garrett Obourn: Returning All-League SS with 37 Hits
  • Hunter Zachary: Sr 1B returning All League player with tons of pop
  • Noah Collins: Sr LHP and OF had 37 hits last year and was 2nd team all-league
  • Brandon Fisher: Sr. CF will be a main stay in the outfield
