Welcome to Looking Ahead, our look at key matchups that will occur in the coming week from around the Commonwealth. Without further ado, here are games that we find to be especially interesting in the coming week:

LOOKING AHEAD: APRIL 30-May 5

No. 12 Hanover vs. No. 2 Benedictine, Wednesday May 2
A showdown between two Richmond powers will pit the 2018 NHSI representative against arguably the best all-around team in Virginia this spring. This game will feature a ton of Division I talent including top 2018s Jack Dragum (Virginia), Nick Zone (James Madison), Cam Grimes (Virginia Tech), Callaway Sigler (James Madison), Greg Ryan (Pittsburgh), and Mark Loving (Virginia Tech) to name a few. 

Wesleyan Christian (NC) vs. No. 1 Liberty Christian, Saturday May 5
Liberty Christian has been essentially unchallenged so far this year and they will play their annual matchup against North Carolina powerhouse Wesleyan Christian on Saturday, which will likely be the toughest threat to finishing the regular season undefeated that the Bulldogs have left.
