Marshall HS took down Jackson HS in a non-league contest with a score of 5-1. Marshall scored two runs in the first inning and spread out three runs over the course of the next six innings to cushion their lead. Marshall was led on the mound by Drew Devine, John Dorosh, and Dan Welke.  Devine had 3 stikeouts in 2IP, Dorosh had 2 strikeouts in 2IP, and Welke, the pitcher of record, closed the door with 4 strikeouts in the last 3IP.

Offensively, Devine lead the way with a triple and 2 runs scored.  Alex Walton had 2 hits and 1 stolen base. Scott Reagle and Drew Maisner each had a single apiece, while Maisner provided 1 run batted in.
