Scores and highlights from around Kentucky last evening.

(No.1) Lexington Catholic 12  Eastern 2
Connor O’Neil went 3-3 with a triple and 3 RBI, and Michael Pica went 3-3 with a double and 3 RBI to lead the Knights to victory.  Ben Coates added a home run for Lexington Catholic.  Evan Fraliex threw 4 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

(No.9) PRP 9  Glenbard East, IL 0
Senior Kyle Olliges fired a complete game, 2-hit shutout, racking up 10 K’s along the way.  Josh Beams, Austin Beckman, and Greg Laughlin all doubled in the victory for PRP.

(No.10) Russell County 11  McCreary Central 0 (5 innings)
Garret Stephens and Lucas Whittle drove in 2 runs apiece as Russell County put up 8 runs in the first inning to cruise to the victory.

(No.11) Collins 16  Oldham County 3 (5 innings)
Collins remained undefeated scoring early and often.  Buddy Johnson collected 3 hits, and Nate Clifton doubled twice in the victory.  Dan Sanders worked 4 innings to record the win for Collins who remained undefeated.

(No.18) Madison Central 4  Anderson County 0
Senior Jimmy Wright’s bat remained on fire, launching his 3rd home run of the season, and sophomore Ben Morin had a 2 hit night.  Kirt Caldwell allowed just 1 hit in 5 innings of work to pick up the win.

Raceland 3  (No.19) Ashland Blazer 2

Green County 5  Taylor County 0
Ohio State recruit Brennen Milby racked up 18 K’s in 6 2/3 innings to record the victory.  Milby did not allow a hit on the evening.  Josh Houk had 2 hits and drove in a run to lead the offense.

Corbin 5  Madison Southern 3
Junior Taylor Combs did it all for the Redhounds, going the distance on the mound topick up the win and blasting his second home run of the year, a 3-run shot in the third inning.

Fairdale 9  Bullitt Central 4
Boo Crabtree and Tyler Garcia each collected 2 hits, and Evan Marquess pitched 4 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win.

Atherton 15  Henry County 5 (6 innings)
Senior Evan Dyer tripled twice, and sophomore Michael Vittitoe drove in 3 runs as Atherton won it’s 4th consecutive game and improved to 7-2 on the season.

Washington County 3  Bardstown 1 (8 innings)
A couple of seniors, Thomas Spaulding and Dillan O’Daniel hooked up in a good old fashioned pitchers duel.  Both pitchers went the distance in the extra inning contest with Spaulding picking up the win for Washington County, picking up 10 K’s along the way.  O’Daniel was the hard luck loser, racking up 18 K’s in his 8 innings of work.

Whitley County 8  Model 7
Tilmon Jackson went 2-3, and Alex Rose drove in 3 runs as Whitley County held on for the victory.

Shelby County 9  North Bullitt 4
The Rockets broke open a tie game with 5 runs in the 5th inning.  Kam Bruner went 3-4 with a double, and Dillon Boone threw 4 innings of 1-hit, scoreless relief.  Shelby County is now 7-1 on the season.

Lincoln County 6  Mercer County 5 (8 innings)
Senior Dylan King went 3-3 with a double, home run, and 3 RBI to power Lincoln County to victory.

Morgan County 4  West Carter 1
Junior Ryan Hanson collected 2 hits and worked 6 innings of 3-hit baseball on the mound to pick up the win.  Zach Bartley contributed 2 hits in the winning cause for Morgan County.

Nelson County 10  Thomas Nelson 0 (6 innings)
Jared Proctor and Zech Maulden each collected 3 hits, and Alex Briney went the distance, allowing just 2 hits for the complete game victory.

Lewis County 4  Mason County 0
Junior Sammy Holder went 6 1/3 innings, allowing just 2 hits and racked up 12 K’s to lead Lewis County to victory.

Moore 4  Valley 3 (11 innings)
Pedro Rodriguez and Jonathan Tinsley each collected 2 hits, and Chris Warner worked 3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win for Moore.

Hazard 3  Danville 2
Freshman Griffin wells had 3 hits including an RBI single in the 7th to drive home the winning run.  Senior Austin Johnson scored 2 runs to aid in the victory.

South Oldham 2  Grant County 1
Tyler Patton and Tyler Fitch each collected 2 hits to lead the South Oldham offense.  Eddie Mathis scattered 5 hits over 7 innings with 10 K’s to record the complete game win.

Fern Creek 11  Cumberland County 0 (5 innings)
Freshman Evan Flener doubled twice and drove in 5 runs to power Fern Creek to the win.  Junior Ryne Underwood allowed just 1 hit and struck out 8 in his 5 innings of work to pick up the win.

Marion County 15  Cumberland County 2 (5 innings)
Jacob Overstreet stroked two doubles and drove in 3 runs to lead Marion County.  Joey Costello racked up 11 K’s in 5 innings to pick up the win.

DuPont Manual 6  Pulaski County 3
Ben Hachten and Andrew Olson each collected 2 hits, and Turahn Gordon drove in 3 runs.  Aaron Pearcy struck out 10 in 6 2/3 innings to record the win.

Scott County 5  Castle 4
Bo Saunders and Scott Daniel each had 2 hits for Scott County.  Matt Gregory struck out 8 over 5 innings of work, and Patrick Hughes threw 2 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win.

Graves County 11  Watertown, TN 2
Callen Aldridge went 3-3, and Trent Shelby drove in 3 runs for Graves County.  Clayton Carrico picked up the win with 4 innings of work on the mound.

Calloway County 7  Haywood 6 (8 innings)
Tyler Greer and Hugh Paschall each collected 2 hits to lead Calloway County.   Greer picked up the win, tossing 3 scoreless innings of relief.

Wayne County 11  Casey County 1 (5 innings)
Dagan Shelton drove in 3 runs, and Ryan Corder worked 4 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Beechwood 4  Conner 2
Freshman Brayden Combs doubled, homered, and drove in all 4 Beechwood runs.  Junior Jason Suchanek added 2 hits as well in the winning cause.  Senior Blake Schuman went 6 2/3 innings to pick up the win.

Lone Oak 9  Calloway County 0 (6 innings)
Drew Schmitt went 3-3, and Austin Drake and Micah Chessor each collected 2 hits as Lone Oak remained red hot.  Cole Womack threw 5 scoreless innings to record the win.

Lone Oak 9  Haywood TN 0
Sam Goode did it all for Lone Oak.  The senior went 3-4 with a HR at the plate and threw a complete game no-hiiter with 9 K’s to lead the Purple Flash to victory.

Prestonburg 10  Allen Central 3
Grant Anderson went 3-4 with 2 RBI to lead Prestonburg.  Trey Stapleton racked up 12 K’s in 5 1/3 innings to pick up the victory.
