Maryland JUCO Conference Rundown: Week 2

Mother nature forced the cancellation and postponement of several games in Week 2. Eight more Maryland JUCO schools were scheduled to open their seasons this week but only Anne Arundel was able to do so. The Riverhawks dropped the first game of their DH on Monday but bounced back to take two-of-three in the home series opener against Suffolk CC (NY).
Looking ahead, all fourteen Maryland JUCO Conference schools are scheduled for action in Week 3. Some season opening notes are below.
- Montgomery and Southern Maryland will travel to Virginia to open their seasons.
- CCBC Essex travels to USC Lancaster for a 4-game set.
- Frederick and Hagerstown open their 2019 seasons in the Sunshine state.
- Chesapeake and Garrett head to the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC for their first action.
- CCBC Dundalk and Montgomery will play the first Maryland JUCO Conference Region XX DII games of the season in a DH on Saturday, March 2nd in Germantown.
