Scouting Report
Heubeck went five innings for the win allowing two runs on three hits and walked four. He struck out seven total and threw 57 percent of his pitches for strikes. Athletic, lanky body type with nice projection and plenty of room to grow and fill out. Short, quick wind-up and leg kick into a tall balance position with hands set at chest level. Strong lower half drive and long, loose, clean arm action. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with easy effort and lands square to the plate with a quarter turn in finish. Fastball jumps out of his hand and sat 89-91 touching 92 twice and 94 twice in the first inning. Settled in more at 86-88 for the reminder of the game with the ability to pump it up to 89-91 when he wanted. Two-seam showed nice arm side run at 82-85 mph and breaking ball sat 74-77 mph with tight 11/5 shape.
