Henryville 7 #3 New Albany 3 –
Martin got the win going seven innings and allowing two earned runs on four hits, while striking out two. Cody Reister had the big hit of the game hitting a three run homerun to put Henryville up 5-1.

#4 Columbus North 2 Ben Davis 1 – Jesse Tompkins picked up the win allowing three hits, one unearned run, and striking out eight. Hunter McIntosh got the save. Devin Mann led the offense going 3-4 with a double and a run. Nick Wingate was 2-3 with a run and CJ Dennis drove in a run.

#6 Crown Point 11 Kankakee Valley 0 – Nickla and Lynx were both 2-2 with two RBI. Morgan drove in two runs, Zach Plesac tripled and drove in a run, Jake Lindeman doubled and drove in a run, and Jenks added a RBI.

Marist (IL) 7 #7 Andrean 3- Mike Brosseau (Oakland University) was the only Andrean player with multiple hits.

Western 11 #9 Zionsville 7

#10 Pendleton Heights 7 Lapel 6 F/9 – Jordan Humfleet threw the last 3.1 innings allowing just two hits, no runs, and striking out seven to get the win. Skyler Reis was 3-3 with two runs, Trevor Jennings was 2-4 with a double and two RBI, and Nick Hendershot had a RBI and two runs. Evans Mohr was 3-5 with a double and two RBI for Lapel.

 

#17 Greenwood 14 Howe 1 – Mitch Duncan threw all five innings allowing three hits, one run, and striking out 10. AJ Vleck led the offense going 2-2 with a double and three RBI. Tylor Martin and Connor Beidelman were both 2-2 with a RBI, Beidelman scored twice. Connor Morris was 2-3 with a run, Kyle Deal had a RBI, and Alex Krupa doubled and drove in a run.

#22 McCutcheon 11 Crawfordsville 4 – Christian Vukas had two doubles and three RBI, Cody Strong had three hits, including a triple, and Hank Gray and Logan Sowers each had two hits. Gray also picked up the win on the mound.

#24 Fishers 7 #14 New Palestine 6 - J.P. Pena walked to lead off the bottom of the 7th. Blake Baumgartner and Clay Small followed with back-to-back bunt singles before Jon Cordell belted a ball to deep left centerfield for the game winning RBI single. Baumgartner and Drew Clark both finished with 3 hits each. Baumgartner connected on a triple, while Clark added 2 doubles and an RBI. Matt Woolwine added 2 hits, including an RBI triple.

Cardinal Ritter 3 University 1 - Jake Purichia allowed only two hits and struck out 13 in six innings of work to earn the win. Logan Beaman drove in two runs and Hayden Cleveland drove in one. Shawn Miller pitched a complete game for University, allowing 3 earned runs and six hits, striking out two.

Charlestown 2 Scottsburg 0 - Unsigned SR P Tregg Scherer improves to 6-3 on mound for the Pirates (20-9).  Scherer tossed a complete game shutout on the road while allowing 1 hit, 1 BB, and striking out 13.  FR CF Ryan Jones led the Pirate offense with a solo HR in the 4th inning.

Northridge 5 Mishawaka 2 – Shannon Baker picked up the win on the mound to improve to 4-1. Austin Summy had two hits for Northridge. CJ Swartz had two hits for Mishawaka.

Bellmont 7 Northfield 3 – Jordan Hilyard picked up the win allowing three hits, no runs, and striking out three over five innings of work. Nick Fuelling was 2-3, Landon Baker was 2-2, and Brian Fullenkamp doubled and drove in two runs. Ryan Keaffaber was 3-4 with two doubles for Northfield.

Westfield 6 Hamilton Heights 5 F/15 – After 14 innings the score was tied 1-1. Westfield put up five in the top of the 15th Nick Saldutti (3-7, 2 RBI) and Jake Celleghin (2-5, 2 RBI) both had two run singles. Jake Diets was 3-6 with two runs and Wade Burtron was 3-6 with a run. Ethan Engelhardt was 3-6 with a RBI and Logan Cunninghamwas 3-7 with a RBI.

Hamilton Southeastern 4 Lawrence North 1 – Ben Burns picked up the win throwing 4.2 innings allowing one hit, no runs, and striking out one. He also drove in a run. Mitch Roman was 2-4 with a RBI and Justin Striebel was also 2-4 with a RBI.

Frankton 8 Eastern Hancock 3 – Sam Richwine picked up the win throwing six innings, allowing five hits, one earned run, and striking out two. Tyler Harvey was 3-3 with a triple and two RBI. Jon Griffey tripled and drove in a run. Evan Fout was 2-4 with a triple and two RBI for Eastern.

Heritage Hills 8 Perry Central 0 – Trent Simpson threw six innings to pick up the win allowing three hits, two walks, and striking out nine.  Miles Kline was 3-4 with a double, three RBI, and a run and Adam Price was also 3-4 with two RBI and two runs. Damon Wahl, Cole Burroughs, and Garrett Wetzel each had two hits and a RBI.

Alexandria 7 Muncie Burris 3 – Jordan Allen got the win throwing four innings, allowing two hits, two runs, and striking out six. Blaize Kelly threw the last three innings allowing two hits, no runs, and striking out six. Mitch Yeagy led the offense going 3-4 with a double, triple, three RBI, and two runs.

Whitko 15 Bethany Christian 5 – Ryan Weigold and Wes Gensch were both 4-5 with three RBI, Weigold doubled. Colin Nicodemus was 2-3 with a double and a RBI and Brandon Carpenter was 2-2 with a double, triple, three RBI, and three runs.

Cloverdale 12 Turkey Run 6 – Jordan Brinkman led the offense going 2-4 with a double, homerun, four RBI, and three runs. Justin Wilson was 2-4 also with three RBI and a run. Cody Carter and Austin Mannan both had a hit and drove in two runs.

Tell City 5 Northeast Dubois 1 – Dayne Seibert got the win throwing 5.1 innings allowing six hits and one run. He also went 2-3 with a run at the plate. Spenser Beard was 3-4 with two triples, two RBI, and two runs.  Brian Arnold and Trent Nelson each drove in a run.

Seeger 8 Rossville 3 – Dakota Ware threw five innings allowing three hits, two runs, and striking out five to get the win. He was also doubled and drove in two runs at the plate. Zach Stitt was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs, Morgan Evans was 2-3 with a double and a run, and Jordan Stover was 2-4 with a double and two runs.

Greenfield-Central 6 Pike 4 – Jared Banton threw four innings allowing two hits, no earned runs, and striking out five to get the win. Kyle Gleeson doubled and drove in two runs and Curtiss Irving doubled and drove in one run.

South Central (Elizabeth) 8 Corydon Central 1 – Alex Wiseman got the complete game win allowing four hits, one run, and striking out eight. Spencer Ray was 2-2 with a double, three RBI, and two runs. Mark O’Connor was 2-4 with a double and a RBI.
